Telstar will be installing new fiber optic cables throughout the subdivision starting in the next few weeks.  These cables are the main lines for the new Fiber Optic Internet offering from Telstar, which will allow for higher speed service.  At this time, all of the work will be in the right-of-way.  Service lines will be ran to houses later when the homeowner signs up for the service.  Telstar will be using horizontal drilling machines to run the cable about 2-3 ft underground, most will be in conduit and housed in underground junction boxes, instead of the old green domes.
If you have questions, contact Telstar directly.  If you’re interested in the service, watch the Telstar website, as the company is not yet offering service until the infrastructure is installed.
This message is a courtesy, the Heritage Lake Board is not directly involved in the project.
