2021 is the first year of seal coat maintenance in the SSA road plan. Over the past few months, the road plans have been discussed at board meetings, and at the annual meeting (see the attached map). In May, bids were requested along with the rest of the Tazewell County road for 2021. The same month, a bid was approved from United Contractors Midwest (UCM).As of today, it looks like the seal coat project will start in late July. Although, Redford Rd might happen prior to this. We don’t have exact start dates yet, but we are working on it.
In addition to the seal coat plans, spray patching repairs are planned throughout the subdivision. Spray patching should happen at any time, and will be quick enough that delays will be minimal and road closures will not be necessary.
