Heritage Lake Association falls under the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office’s Department — NOT the Mackinaw Police Department. HLA members should contact the Tazewell County Sheriff’s NON-EMERGENCY department at phone number: (309) 346-4141 for anything other than an emergency which of course would be 911.

Vacation Patrol Request
If you are planning a vacation or a lengthy stay in another climate, the office has a form that you can complete that alerts the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department of your absence.
In Case of Weather Emergency
The Village of Mackinaw has set up an automated Emergency Management Notification system or “One Call Now.” When there is real threat of eminent danger due to active weather conditions, you will receive an automated call from One Call Now. If you would like to sign up for this program please fill out the Emergency Notification sign-up sheet (shown below) and return it to the city clerk’s office. Please don’t return it to the Heritage Lake office.
