On the recommendation of the Conservation Committee, Heritage Lake Association will be opening the draw down valve on the dam on October 1st, 2015.  The valve will be closed once solid ice has formed on the surface of the lake to prevent gaps between the ice and the water level below.

The lake levels will be closely monitored through November 7th to insure that boats will still be able to be launched and removed without issues.  If the lake level drops to quickly, the valve will be closed until November 7th, and reopened that weekend.

While the lake levels are down, Heritage Lake Association will be working on improvements projects at the beach and boat launch.
