IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDS E. coli in the Lake

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding E. coli in the Lake ⚠️

Recent water testing has identified elevated levels of E. coli bacteria in portions of the lake. E. coli is commonly associated with fecal contamination from wildlife, pets, livestock, stormwater runoff, or other environmental sources.

Exposure to water containing high levels of E. coli may increase the risk of illness, particularly if water is swallowed or comes into contact with open wounds. Symptoms can include stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.

For your safety, please:

Avoid swimming or other activities involving direct contact with lake water until further notice.
Do not allow children or pets to enter the water.
Avoid drinking lake water or using it for food preparation.
Wash thoroughly if accidental contact occurs.

The Association is working with the appropriate agencies to monitor water quality and determine when conditions are safe for recreational use. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to protect the health and safety of our community.
