As part of our normal lake monitoring program with the State Health Department, our maintenance team submits weekly water samples for testing to help ensure the safety of our community.
Unfortunately, recent testing identified elevated levels of E. coli in the lake. As a result, swimming is currently prohibited due to the associated health risks. While this is an unforeseen situation, it is not uncommon for lake communities and is something we are actively managing.
Additional water samples have been collected this morning (6-17-26) from both shallow and deeper areas of the lake. We will continue to monitor results closely and provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
