IMPORTANT INFORMATION DATES:
The date for the 2025 Annual Member Meeting has been set for Saturday, March 15, 9:00 a.m. at the Lodge. At this time, three (3) Board member positions will be open for election.
Reports will be given from the HLA accountant, attorney, and each committee. Any business brought by the membership will be addressed as well. Please mark your calendars with the following important dates:
Intent to Run Due: Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 11:59 PM. All letters of intent to run for the board are due to the office by 11:59 PM, January 14, 2025. These statements can be mailed, delivered in person during office hours, or emailed to the office. Please include a brief paragraph that will be shared with the members about you.
Date of Record: Wednesday January 29, 2025, 6:30 p.m. All 2024 fees, fines, and assessments must be paid in full by 6:30 PM on January 29, 2025, to be eligible to vote at the 2025 Annual Meeting. Per the HLA Bylaws, there are no exceptions to this rule. Please address any concerns with the office.
Note: 2025 General Assessments due March 1, 2025, are NOT included in the amount due by January 29, 2025.
Document Mailing: Annual meeting documents will be mailed to all members no later than March 5, 2025. Please watch the website and the HLA Facebook Group for announcements of when they are mailed and how-to follow-up if you do not receive your annual meeting documents.
Advance Ballots & Proxies Due: Thursday March 13, 2025, 6:30 p.m. Advance Ballots and Proxies for the board will be due at the office no later than 6:30 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025. These may be mailed or dropped off in person during office hours. There is no electronic option for these documents as the originals must be used. Ballots received after this time will still be counted but must be presented at the annual meeting on March 15, 2025, by 8:55 a.m. Proxies may be presented or withdrawn at any time during the meeting.
Annual Meeting: Saturday March 15, 2025, 9:00 a.m. at the Lodge. Please plan to arrive early to check in with the Teller Committee.
