There have been numerous reports of mailbox damage and mail theft throughout the neighborhood.
If you have been affected by this, please contact the Tazewell County Sheriff non-emergency line and file a report. If mail was stolen, contact the Post Office also to file a report with them.
This has affected several communities in central Illinois, so if you find mail or packages that have been disposed of, please contact the Tazewell County Sheriff and please don’t move or touch what you’ve found. The Tazewell County Sheriff and U.S. Post Office are aware of the situation and are investigating. If you have any information or tips, please contact them.
