We now have a total of 3 members on the Environmental Control Committee (ECC) but we would like to have a total of 5 in order to minimize the activity on any one committee member.

Basically you would be part of a committee that would meet as needed to review and approve (based on the HLA rules & guidelines) permit applications that are sent into the HLA office. These permit requests could be for tree removal, building structures like docks, decks, sheds, fences, retaining walls, drive ways etc. The goal of the committee with the approval process is to protect the natural charm of the lake community and assist residents with housing issues. All correspondence for permits go through the HLA office so no one submitting a permit would have a committee members e-mail address or phone number.
