The Lake

The lake is 3/4 mile long with over 4 miles of shoreline with 85 acres to enjoy by canoe, sailboat, paddleboat, rowboat, or boats powered by electric motors.

Bluegill, green sunfish, white and black crappie, catfish, several varieties of bass, walleye, northern pike, and muskie all make their home in Heritage Lake. So, grab your rod and reel and head on down to the lake, fishin's fine.

The Beach

Fun in the sun can be had by the whole family at the beach area of the lake.

Sand is replenished each season to ensure sand pails and sand castles can be enjoyed to their fullest extent. Sand volleyball is set up on the upper deck so as not to interfere with those sunbathing or running along the beach.

So, come one, come all - the water's fine.

The beach area is also home to a children's park and a pavilion.

While the children are safely at play, dad can be cooking those steaks on the grills that are available, while mom lounges on a beach chair. The whole family can sit down to a picnic-style meal under the pavilion.
