Snow plowing will begin around 12:30 pm Wednesday February 8th, and will continue until all roads are cleared. All roads should be passable by the time the school buses come through, but may not be completely cleared until early evening. Please use caution as you are out and about this evening.
HLA plows have been out, but there’s still quite a bit of black ice under the blowing snow, especially in areas that didn’t get any sun yesterday. Hopefully today’s sunshine will help the salt do its job. Please be careful if you are out this morning, and give yourself extra time.
The Heritage Lake maintenance staff will be out treating the roads until 11 pm tonight. They will resume around 3 am Saturday morning, and will monitor conditions throughout the day. Please drive cautiously, the subdivision roads are a little slick, but some county roads like Dee-Mack Rd and Broadway have many areas of black ice. […]
