Snow Removal – Resident Reminder

As another storm system approaches the Midwest, the Post Office has requested that residents be reminded of the following.

Heritage Lake residents are responsible for keeping the area in front of their mailboxes and newspaper boxes accessible to the mail and newspaper delivery people.  This includes clearing snow after a snow fall, clearing what is left by the snow plow and placing gravel over mud or ruts.  If the mail carrier cannot get to your box because of snow, your mail will not be delivered.

Heritage Lake staff do their best not to block in mailbox while plowing, but some build-up is inevitable.  Thank you for your understanding.
