Due to the significant rain we received over the weekend, the road work on the north side of the Lake has been delayed.  We have been in contact both with the School Bus Superintendent and Neville Trucking, and both are aware of the situation.

For Garbage pick-up, residents in the area where the road work is occurring on Wednesday may have a delay in their garbage pick-up.  If your trash is not picked up by Wednesday evening (after 6) please contact Neville Trucking at 309-359-8400

For the School Bus pickup, please be patient as the drivers navigate around the construction on Wednesday and Thursday.  The bus will not be able to cross areas where fresh tar is laid.  If this is happening near your bus stop at the time the bus is anticipated, please watch for the driver to approach on the outsides of the fresh tar.  Should you choose to drop off and pick up your child instead, please don’t forget to contact the school with the change in transportation plans.

We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause our members over the next few days.  We had hoped to have all the work completed by Tuesday evening, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate.  Thank you for our patience and understanding as we finish this work.
